SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSE: B2/ADVANCED

Spanish language course: B2/Advanced Our five-day advanced Spanish course in Seville is designed for Erasmus+ teachers and anyone seeking to elevate their Spanish language skills. Participants will engage with authentic materials, participate in dynamic discussions, and work collaboratively on projects that reflect real-world contexts. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Seville, this course encourages cultural exploration while providing a supportive environment for language practice, enabling participants to deepen their understanding and command of the language.

Objectives:

  • The primary objective of this course is to significantly improve participants’ Spanish language abilities, fostering confidence in their communication skills. By balancing vocabulary and grammar with practical conversation, teachers and learners alike will gain tools to facilitate engaging classroom experiences. The course emphasises innovative teaching methodologies and includes activities that can be readily applied in educational settings. Ultimately, this training aims to empower educators and learners to inspire their students, ensuring they leave with enhanced linguistic skills and a deeper appreciation for Spanish language and culture.

Course Modules:

  • Module 1: Explore nuanced vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
  • Engage in discussions using new vocabulary; role play scenarios for real-life applications.
  • Module 2: Focus on advanced grammar topics, such as subjunctive and conditional tenses.
  • Practice through written exercises and group discussions; grammar games to reinforce concepts.
  • Module 3: Enhance listening skills with authentic audio materials, including podcasts and interviews. Listening exercises followed by group discussions and comprehension questions.
  • Module 4: Develop writing skills for various contexts, including formal and informal styles. Write essays, emails, or reports; peer review sessions for feedback.
  • Module 5: Focus on conversation skills and cultural nuances. Role play debates on contemporary topics; explore local culture through field trips or guest speakers.

Important information for all courses

Schedule: Lessons take place either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the trainers’ availability. The final schedule will be provided no later than 2 weeks prior to the participants’ arrival. The course provider may make minor last minute changes to the schedule and content if the situation requires it.

Equipment: Participants may be required to bring their own laptop or a tablet, depending on the course.

Course Fee: 400 € per participant for a 5-day course. Accommodation is not included with the fee, however, we are happy to provide recommendations and support you finding hotels, B&Bs, and local properties.

Certificate: Participants must attend at least 80 % of the lessons to obtain the Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course.

Cultural activities: A guided walking tour is a part of each course.

Cancellation Policy: If the participant cancels the course more than 30 days before the course starts, all fees will be refunded.

If the participant cancels the course between 30 and 7 days before the course starts, they will be refunded in the form of a voucher to be used for future courses.

The course is non-refundable If the participant cancels 7 days before the course start date.

This course requires a minimum of four participants. In the unlikely event of not reaching four participants, do not worry, you will have the chance to join an alternative course on the exact same dates.
