EXPLORING AI TOOLS FOR EDUCATION
This course introduces teachers participating in Erasmus+ to the fundamental concepts and practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. Participants will explore how AI can enhance teaching and learning, discover tools for classroom use, and develop strategies to integrate AI into their educational practices effectively.
Objectives:
- Understand the basic principles of artificial intelligence.
- Explore practical AI applications in the classroom.
- Learn to use AI tools to support teaching and learning.
- Develop strategies for incorporating AI into lesson plans.
Course Modules:
- Module 1: Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. Overview of AI concepts and terminology. Discussion of the impact of AI on education.
- Module 2: AI Tools for Educators. Exploration of various AI tools available for teaching (e.g., chatbots, personalised learning platforms).
- Module 3: Practical Applications of AI in the Classroom. Case studies of successful AI integration in educational settings.
- Module 4: Ethical Considerations and Challenges. Discussion of ethical implications and challenges of using AI in education.
- Module 5: Developing AI-Enhanced Lesson Plans. Strategies for incorporating AI into lesson planning.

Important information for all courses
Schedule: Lessons take place either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the trainers’ availability. The final schedule will be provided no later than 2 weeks prior to the participants’ arrival. The course provider may make minor last minute changes to the schedule and content if the situation requires it.
Equipment: Participants may be required to bring their own laptop or a tablet, depending on the course.
Course Fee: 400 € per participant for a 5-day course. Accommodation is not included with the fee, however, we are happy to provide recommendations and support you finding hotels, B&Bs, and local properties.
Certificate: Participants must attend at least 80 % of the lessons to obtain the Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course.
Cultural activities: A guided walking tour is a part of each course.
Cancellation Policy: If the participant cancels the course more than 30 days before the course starts, all fees will be refunded.
If the participant cancels the course between 30 and 7 days before the course starts, they will be refunded in the form of a voucher to be used for future courses.
The course is non-refundable If the participant cancels 7 days before the course start date.
This course requires a minimum of four participants. In the unlikely event of not reaching four participants, do not worry, you will have the chance to join an alternative course on the exact same dates.
